Welcome to my personal research website! I am currently a PhD student in Dr. Dave Koons' lab at Colorado State University. I am broadly interested in population ecology, private lands conservation, wetland ecology, and waterfowl ecology. My overarching goals are to instigate productive discussions across agencies and stakeholders and provide a rigorous scientific foundation to effectively guide increasingly limited conservation dollars. My current research focuses on waterfowl population ecology within a flood-irrigated agricultural system. Specifically, I study whether directing conservation funding towards improving irrigation infrastructure on private lands influences waterfowl productivity, habitat use, and recruitment. You can find my contact information and my presence on the internet below.
